Dashboard









A).Dashboard means all visualization on single computer screen,it provides the glance view of the business process as well. Dashboards gives the sign about the something is right or something is wrong in the business process.Dashboards widely used in the corporate world.

Dashboards play very important role in business intelligence.It helps in data visualization tool that represent the current status of metrics and key performance indicator  for an enterprise.Dashboards gather and arrange numbers, metrics and sometimes performance scorecards on a single screen.The essential features of  a Business Intelligence dashboard product include a customizable interface and ability to pull real- time data from multiple sources.Dashboards make the data more accessible to a large audience including executive, and general consumer.Self- service dashboard solution that support large data set will help organisations interact with more information  and , At the same time provide insights to a wider range of users.

Dashboard is highly interactive and provide the facility of filtering and sorting the big data into summary .Also it provide the overview of the information very easily.The business dashboard is one of these tools that provide a snapshot of the most of the important number needed to conduct effective business analysis.Moreover,dashboard answer the fundamental questions of the business.Dashboards use generally at every level of the management but usually to higher level who need a quick view how company is performing.


Mission statement: We are creating a dashboard to analyze inventory sample data statistics to identify which store are performing best ,and to view the total sales of the different location.Also, to keep the track of the minimum and maximum on hand inventory.

B).Inventory data set represent the information regarding items and the shipment of the order, target shipment and total sales. Moreover, it also shows the location , location type and min & max on hand inventory, seasonal code and volume code.

Questions: 

1.At which location sales variability is highest and lowest?
2.What is the total sales according to the location as per week?
3.At which location target of order item is achieved.?
4.What is the Min on hand and Max on hand inventory as per store ?
5.At which location sales thru percentage is highest and lowest as per week?
